Goombay Raleigh-Durham Mens Softball League- Fall 2023
Location: Knights of Columbus
Season Starts: November 7th
Times: 6:30PM Start Time
Registration Cost: Early Bird: $65 per player Late Fee: $75 per player
A team shall consist:
A) Coed (Slow-Pitch) A minimum of team consist of Twelve (12) players minimum with no max roster limit.
Overview:
- 8 regular season games. Single elimination playoffs.
- Championship trophy. League MVP
- Only USSSA approved sanctioned bats, balls and equipment are allowed
- Top half of teams will go on to play in a post season tournament
- If you would like to be notified of any pictures that are taken during league play, make sure to join the Goombay Raleigh-Durham Sports League Facebook Group.
- Before participating in any sport with Goombay Raleigh-Durham a player must sign and agree to the liability waiver and be at least 18+, in good health and have his/her own insurance.
- A player must play in at least 1 game to be eligible to play in the playoffs
Conduct Policy:
- Goombay Raleigh-Durham has a strict zero tolerance policy for harassment and or bullying. Harassment can be verbal, physical or visual, and includes all unwelcome conduct that is based on race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy), national origin, age (40 or older), disability or genetic information. If any captain, coach, player, referee, seen braking this rule will be asked to leave and will NOT receive a refund for however many games are remaining for the season. As well as possibly being banned from participating in any sporting event held by Goombay Raleigh-Durham and it affiliates.
Refund Policy(Please Read)
Goombay Raleigh-Durham has a strict non-refundable policy. Before registering yourself or your team you must consider the following which does not entitle you to a refund;
COVID, Work or personal life. League schedule or game times that will conflict with your personal schedule, multiple weather cancellations, breaking up or divorce issues, not having a good time, being kicked out or dismissed from the league. Moving, or injuries that cause you to no longer be able to play for the reminder of the season. Credits or transfers can be requested, but are not guaranteed and will be reviewed by league officials.
